Biographical / Historical

Camillus Christian, Jr., son of Elizabeth Hutter and John Davis Christian, was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on May 6, 1892. He attended VMI from 1909 to 1914 and served in France during World War I as a Captain in the 363rd Infantry, American Expeditionary Forces (AEF). Christian spent his career as a businessman in Brooklyn, New York, primarily as an executive with Childs Pulp Colors, Inc. He married Joyce Holt in 1915, and the couple did not have children. Christian died at Saddle River, New Jersey on November 2, 1978.
