Biographical / Historical

John Robinson Waddy was born in 1834 and graduated VMI in 1853. Prior to 1861 he was an officer in the U.S. Army and then was an officer in the Confederate States of America. Waddy was also a farmer, businessman, and postmaster. He died in 1903 in Norfolk, Virginia.
