VMI scrapbook compiled by Cadet Eli B. Springs. Includes clippings, programs, invitations, and other memorabilia from the academic years 1911-1912 and 1912-1913.

Also one scrapbook page (fragment) dating from Springs's service in France during World War I. Includes an armed forces "newspaper" called The Route Step (vol. 1 no. 1), dated July 15, 1918, "somewhere in France"; ticket stubs for military travel, and clippings.
