Biographical / Historical

Union soldier Joseph R. Lunbeck, who served first with Company B of the 26th Ohio Infantry Regiment (Fullerton Rifles) and later as a hospital steward. Lunbeck (b. Ross Co., Ohio 1837) was a miller from Chillicothe Co., Ohio and was age 24 in 1862; his parents were Isaac Lunbeck and Rowena Gibson; he married Agnes Truslow. Died 1913; buried Grandview Cemetery, Chillicothe, Ohio. Plot: Section 9C
