Biographical / Historical
"Brother Rat" by Fred F. Finklehoffe and John Monks, Jr. was a play and subsequently feature film. Set at the Virginia Military Institute, from which the authors graduated in 1932, the play was a Broadway hit in 1936 and was subsequently produced by many regional theaters. The film was produced by Hal B. Wallis for Warner Brothers Studios in 1938; its stars included Ronald Reagan, Eddie Albert, and Jane Wyman.
