Scope and Contents This collection consists of two letters regarding members of the Dunlap Family of Jennings Gap, Augusta County, Virginia. The first letter (dated May 20th, 1864) is from Confederate soldier Robert B. Dunlap to his mother Margaret Dunlap and describes the aftermath of battle. The second letter (dated July 13, 1864) is from Adam Dunlap, a Union loyalist, to his brother Robert Dunlap.
