Chester F. Burgess collection
Scope and Contents Chester F. Burgess was a Professor of English at the Virginia Military Institute from 1962-1988. The collection consists of edited manuscripts of three of his publications: The Letters of John Gay; The Beggar's Opera and Companion Pieces; and The Fellowship of the Craft.

A yearly compilation of faculty publications, created by the Dean's Office; after 2002 assembled in volumes by academic year. Later years include lists of published books, copies of scholarly articles, and lists of presentations.

Scope and Contents Author's copy of the galley proofs for the book"John M. Brooke, Naval Scientist and Educator" by George M. Brook, Jr. The book was published by the University Press of Virginia in 1980.
Robert F. Hunter collection
Contents Note Bulk consists of edited typescript and illustrations for Hunter's book, Claudius Crozet (University of Virginia Press, 1989). The book was co-authored by Edwin L. Dooley. Also typescript of article "The Turnpike Movement in Virginia, 1816-1860."
Robert K. Turner Collection
Scope and Contents Annotated typescripts, galley and page proofs, and other pre-publication materials relating to: Letters of a New Market cadet (University of North Carolina Press, 1961) edited by Robert K. Turner and John G. Barrett. Most of the original documents that appear in the book are located in the Jaqueline Beverly Stanard Papers, VMI Archives.

Williamson's Civil War memoirs, in which he discusses the events that took place during his temporary assignment to the command of Major General Thomas J.
