Charles P. Dorman papers

Scope and Contents This collection (approximately 60 items) consists of letters to Charles Dorman in capacity as an attorney, documents regarding the settlement of his estate by executor William C. Lewis, and a contemporary copy of the legislative bill establishing VMI.

Cincinnatus Monument scrapbooks

Scope and Contents 2 scrapbooks documenting the history and dedication of VMI's Cincinnatus Monument. The monument was unveiled and dedicated on November 11, 1983. The scrapbooks were compiled by Monument Committee member Percy M. "Pete" Lincoln, Jr., VMI Class of 1957.

Henry P. Fry collection

Scope and Contents Four volumes typescript "Memories of the Old VMI", written by Henry P. Fry ca. 1950. Fry describes his life as a cadet from January 1898-June 1901. Particular emphasis is placed on the Class of 1901 and Fry's classmate Cadet George C. Marshall. Collection also includes family photographs, miscellaneous correspondence, misc. other documents.

Scope and Contents The Jennings C. Wise Papers consist primarily of incoming and outgoing correspondence from the period 1910-1960. Included are letters dating from his years as Professor and Commandant of Cadets at VMI, from his practice of law, and from his retirement period in which he devoted himself primarily to writing.
