This collection consists of two scrapbooks, 1896-1900, compiled by Conway R. Howard. Contents include VMI memorabilia, clippings, photographs illustrating cadet life, programs, and other items pertaining to athletic events. This collection consists of correspondence (8 letters) from Erasmus G. Hinton to his father (dated 1894-1895). Harley R. Hinton, the writer's twin brother, is frequently mentioned. Henry T. Cocke papers

The collection includes one letter (dated February 20, 1894) from Henry T. Cocke to his mother. Topics include a snowstorm, debating society orations, and raiding local hen houses for "rooster fighting" in barracks. The collection also includes Cocke's account book, containing a list of VMI expenses for 1891 to 1895.
