Scope and Contents This collection consists of four notebooks belonging to Cadet Charles J. Hansrote, Jr. (VMI Class of 1952), which include chemistry notes. The collection also includes two mechanical drawings.

Scope and Contents Original drawings by three notable cartoonists created for inclusion in the "It's an Outrage" section of the 1959 VMI yearbook. The three artists produced VMI-themed versions of the comic strips Dennis the Menace, Steve Canyon, and Beetle Bailey.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of one scrapbook compiled by VMI Cadet Lomax Gwathmey, documenting his cadetship (1954-1958). The scapbook includes:

Scope and Contents Mardi Gras (20th Century Fox, 1958) was the second movie to feature VMI (the first was Brother Rat, see MS-0005). Included in this collection are two scripts (first draft and shooting final), approximately 150 still black and white photos from the production, and other memorablia relating to the movie.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of items related to Robert N. Smith, including photographs, letters, and unit newspapers dating from his service overseas in World War II with Company M, 255th Infantry Regiment, 63rd Division. This collection also includes a cadet scrapbook (1946-1950) that is largely newspaper clippings.

Scope and Contents This collection (15 items) consists of:

• One ring binder scrapbook containing clippings, correspondence, and programs related to the establishment of the first varsity lacrosse team at VMI (1948-1950)
• Nine photographs of the team and team members. These items were donated by team member Francis (Frank) L. Boehm (VMI Class of 1950B).
• Correspondence (5 items) donated by Walter L. Richards (VMI Class of 1941).
